Soda, Sweets, and Service: How ADPi Raised Over $51K for Ronald McDonald House!"

In Alpha Delta Pi, we pride ourselves on our commitment to service and philanthropy. This fall, our chapter came together for a week of fundraising events to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona. Through hard work, community support, and a lot of heart, we raised a grand total of $51,588.24 for this incredible cause!

The Ronald McDonald House Charities provides families of children undergoing medical treatment with a place to stay, offering comfort and support during what is often a difficult and stressful time. We are thrilled to have played a small role in supporting their mission through these amazing events. Here’s a breakdown of our fall philanthropy events and how they contributed to this record-breaking total.

We kicked off our philanthropy week right here on campus with a sweet treat at Fiiz Soda Shops. On this special night, a percentage of every sale went directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona. The support from our chapter and the community was outstanding, and we raised $350 for this worthy cause. It was a fun and delicious way to begin our week of giving back!

Next up was our ADPi Pop-Up Market, a unique event where we invited local vendors such as House of Threads, Forever Wild Jewelry, Wants and Needs, Celsius, and more. From handmade jewelry to upcycled clothing the market had something for everyone. The vendors generously donated a portion of their sales to our philanthropy, and thanks to all the shoppers who came out to support us, we raised $652 at this event.

Our final event was our annual Diamond Diner, an event where we transform our chapter house into a diner for a night, serving up delicious food and drinks to students and community members. Our guests purchased tickets to enjoy a box combo from Raising Canes and a fun night of dancing and playing games in our backyard. The door sales alone brought in $1,050.92, and we were thrilled to see so many people come together to support the Ronald McDonald House. With the help of our friends and family, we raised a jaw-dropping $49,580.32 through CrowdChange ticket sales and donations! Through this initiative, we encouraged attendees to donate directly to the Ronald McDonald House through the Crowd Change platform. With a combination of online donations, in-person contributions, and a little extra generosity from our chapter sisters, we were able to raise this incredible amount in just one night. The outpouring of support was truly heartwarming, and we are beyond grateful for everyone who contributed.

Thanks to these amazing events and the generosity of our community, we raised a total of $51,588.24 for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona. Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping families with critically ill children, providing them with a place to stay, meals, and other vital resources while they focus on their child’s recovery. This total is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our sisters, as well as the incredible generosity of everyone who participated in and supported our events.

None of this would have been possible without the support of our local community, our dedicated chapter members, and all of the individuals who attended our events, donated, and shared our message. We are so proud to see the impact we can make when we come together for a cause that means so much.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue working with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona and to support the families they serve. Our philanthropy week may be over, but our commitment to giving back will continue year-round.From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your generosity and support. Together, we’re making a difference!
